What is Little Firsts?
Little Firsts is a gentle storybook app for ages 4 to 6 that grows a child’s first words in two languages at once. Every story can be read in either language with a tap, narrated aloud in a warm voice, and many words are tappable — touch one and its picture, partner-language word, and audio appear. A growing First Words picture dictionary holds everything they meet.
Which languages does it support?
Six at launch: English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese (Simplified, with pinyin and audio-first support for the characters). You pick a base language and a target language, and can switch with a tap.
Does my child need to read already?
Not at all. Little Firsts is audio-first and built for pre-readers. A parent reads along, the narration button reads aloud, and tapping a word plays it.
