Choosing and switching languages
In the parent zone you can pick a base language and a target language from all six (English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese). Any pairing works — English is the hub, but you’re not limited to it.
While reading, a quick toggle flips the whole story between the two languages, and tapping a word reveals its partner-language twin with audio. In First Words, tap a word to hear the other language.
Reading aloud and tapping words
Little Firsts is audio-first, so your child doesn’t need to read yet. The narration button reads each page aloud in a warm voice, and many words are tappable — touch one to see its picture, hear it, and meet its translation. The voice is a single, fixed, friendly voice across all languages.
Subscriptions and restoring purchases
A single subscription (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) unlocks every story. To restore a purchase on a new device, open the parent zone and choose Restore Purchases — your app store will reconnect your existing subscription.
To manage or cancel, use your App Store or Google Play account settings. We can’t see or change your subscription from our side, and store refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Offline reading
Once a story is installed it works with no signal at all — ideal for planes, cars and bedtime. If a new story won’t download, check your connection and that there’s room on the device, then try again.
Privacy and your child
