Accepting these terms

By downloading or using Little Firsts, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Because the app is for young children, an adult must accept these terms and supervise its use.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Little Firsts for your family’s own, non-commercial enjoyment, on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the relevant app store’s rules.

You agree not to copy, resell, rent, sub-licence, reverse-engineer, or extract the app’s stories, illustrations, audio or dictionary, except where the law expressly allows it.

Free to try, and subscriptions

You can start using Little Firsts for free. Unlocking the full, growing library is a single subscription that opens all stories, offered as monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Exact prices are shown in the app for your region before you buy.

• Purchases are billed through your App Store or Google Play account.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel any time in your store account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• The lifetime option is a one-time purchase for the current platform, with no recurring charge.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we can’t issue store refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Please use Little Firsts as intended: as a gentle reading companion for children. Don’t use it unlawfully, don’t try to break or interfere with the app or its content delivery, and don’t attempt to access it in ways we didn’t intend.

Our content and intellectual property

The stories, illustrations, audio, the First Words dictionary, the name "Little Firsts", and the look and feel of the app are owned by Endless River or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your licence to use the app does not transfer any of these rights to you.

For children, with a grown-up

Little Firsts is designed for children but set up and supervised by an adult. As the parent or guardian, you are responsible for choosing what your child uses, for the device it runs on, and for any in-app purchase made on that device. The parent gate is there to help, but it is not a substitute for supervision.

A learning companion, not a guarantee

Little Firsts is made with care to help children meet their first words in two languages. It is an enrichment tool, not a teacher or a guarantee of any particular learning outcome. The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Endless River will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) Little Firsts. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app — adding stories and languages, improving features, or retiring ones that don’t serve children well — and we may update these terms. If we make a material change to the terms, we’ll update the "Effective" date and flag it. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your licence if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property and liability) will continue to apply.
