Country days tracker for tax residency, visas and Schengen.

Countly automatically records the days you spend in each country, keeps the rolling Schengen 90/180 window, and watches the thresholds that matter — privately, on your phone.

Know the count before the count becomes a problem.

Immigration limits and tax-residency tests use different calendars. Countly keeps the underlying travel record in one place and shows each rule separately.

Travel history

Keep a dated record of every stay.

Review the timeline, correct trips and resolve gaps while the details are still fresh — instead of reconstructing a year from receipts.

History you can inspect three ways.

Use the timeline for evidence, the calendar for patterns and the globe for the full shape of a year. Every view is built from the same editable stays.

  • TimelineExact dates, regions and day totals.
  • CalendarA whole year without spreadsheet archaeology.
  • GlobeMovement rendered as a shareable travel story.

  1. 01

    Count in the background

Countly recognises country changes and builds a per-country timeline without asking you to start and stop a timer.

  2. 02

    Apply the right calendar

Calendar-year, tax-year and rolling-window rules stay separate, so a Schengen count is never confused with a residency count.

  3. 03

Review before you rely on it

Edit a stay, add a missing trip and resolve data gaps. Countly gives you the record; official sources and advisers give you the legal conclusion.

Your location history is not our business.

The travel record is useful because it is sensitive. Countly keeps location-derived history on your device rather than building a server-side map of your life.

What is a country days tracker?

A country days tracker keeps a dated record of how long you spend in each country. Countly builds that record automatically on your phone and shows the totals against tax-residency, Schengen and visa thresholds.

Does Countly track the Schengen 90/180 rule?

Yes. Countly maintains the rolling 180-day window, counts the Schengen days inside it and shows how many of the usual 90 short-stay days remain. Your nationality, visa and circumstances still determine whether that rule applies.

Can Countly determine my tax residency?

No. Countly records and calculates days. Tax residency can also depend on your home, family, work, domicile, treaties and other facts, so confirm any conclusion with the relevant authority or a qualified adviser.

Where is my location history stored?

Countly keeps location-derived history on your device. Your location history is not uploaded to a Countly account or server.

Can I correct a trip or a missing day?

Yes. Review the timeline, edit stays and resolve data gaps so the record matches your actual travel. Keep independent documents for situations where official evidence may be required.
